It took a while at first, but here it is, DC Confirms the Arrival of a New Batman and Superman Movie.
After months of promises, schedule changes, and confusion, DC has greenlit the first project in the company's line of movies and TV shows.
The news comes in the first wave of announcements from the company's audiovisual chiefs James Gunn and Peter Safran.
The new DCU begins in 2025 with the release of Superman: Legacy.
Written by Gunn, the film will introduce the new Man of Steel, who has yet to be announced.
In addition to Blue, Batman also has a new actor on the screen, in The Brave and the Bold.
The film features the hero alongside the Bat-family, including Damian Wayne's Robin.
In addition to the film, Gunn and Peter Safran also announced several streaming projects.
All titles follow DC's unchanging 2023 schedule.

Immature Lantern (undated episode)
Originally announced long before Gunn and Safran's arrival, the Green Lantern series is finally getting off the ground. The plot will see heroes Hal Jordan and John Stewart investigating a dangerous intergalactic mystery.
Paradise Lost (TV series – no release date set)
However, the secret islet of Themyscira will be the scene of many political controversies.
